*****Audition Dates - Audition dates have been scheduled for Saturday May 8th, 11:00am until 2:00pm, Sunday, May 9th, 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the Fred Cranford Amphitheater.

• The Summer of 2010 will mark the 43rd consecutive season of "From This Day Forward", written by local playwright, Fred Cranford. Sit under the stars and hear the story of the Waldenses, a people from the area known as the Cottian Alps in Northern Italy. Persecuted for their faith and exiled from their homeland, the Waldenses refused to give up. Eventually moving to North Carolina and founding the town of Valdese. This year's production will be directed by Gennifer Hogan.

Unpredictable, Exasperating, Boisterous and Independent....that is Ramona Quimby for you! Always aggravating her older sister, getting into trouble and making a big noisy fuss when things don't go her way. Adapted from the novels of Beverly Cleary by Obie Awarding winning playwright Len Jenkins, the characters and material are very "today." Directed by Sally Jo Smiley.

The Gift of the Maji is a touching and beautiful story of a young couple unable to afford presents for each other on their first Christmas together. Each sacrifices a treasure to provide a gift for the other but, in doing so, they work at almost tragically funny cross-purposes. This show is about young love and the value of giving.
